This year's show is "The Christmas Revels: A 17th-Century English Village Celebration of the Winter Solstice." It's set in a tiny hamet in England's rural West Country during the Seventeenth Century. As the villagers are preparing to celebrate their annual Winter Solstice Festival, they debate whether or not magical creatures -- fairies, elves, hobgoblins, dragons -- exist or not. The pro-fairies faction plead their case by telling traditional English folk tales about human beings who have had close encounters with such creatures. In between the stories, the cast of the Christmas Revels production performs songs, carols and dances from England's Renaissance Era.
